THE INSPECTIONS
Regular inspections provide detailed and documented information about the proper installation suitability and safety of playground equipment, surfacing and ancillary items. Nearby hazards, such as roads and watercourses will also be assessed. Means of control or methods to reduce hazards will be recommended to ensure the safety of the play area or facility.
The written report can include photographs of each item inspected along with photographs of each Standard failure or maintenance issue. A Risk Assessment will be included and recommendations for sensible remedial action will be given for hazards relevant to safety. Timescales for cost effective repair of faults can be provided, including advice on monitoring possible further developments of each problem.
